What's up:
Currently working on some great projects at Open Path Music. I had the chance to play on Aaron Lington & Paul Tynan's CD "Bicoastal Collective: Chapter Two", as well as record and mix the previous CD in the series, "Bicoastal Collective: Chapter One".
Wearing my engineer and/or producer hat I continue to work on some really creative projects at Open Path (Dub Nation, "Rising Force For Change", with brilliant producer/engineer/bassist Frank Caruso. Singer Denise Withnell, Saxophonist Johnathan Bautista's CD project. Akira Tana. NLS Trio - Paul Nagle, Jason Lewis, and John Shifflett. Christian Tamburr's CD "Places". Lin McPhillips "My Shining Hour". Singer Anja Malkiel.
As a guitarist I've had some deeply satisfying playing opportunites recently: Crossing Borders, Kristen Strom, John Worley, Ed Johnson & Novo Tempo, New Almaden Trio, John Donaldson Quintet (at Monterey Jazz Festival), Jennifer Lee, Denise Withnell, Jason Lewis Trio, Anton Schwartz, Rob Hart Trio, Bobby Selvaggio, Masha Campagne, Kendra Shank, David Pietro, David Sharpe (AKA "Papa Hugs"), Renata Bratt, Kirk Tamura Trio (on bass), to name a few. Thanks to all the amazing musicians I've had the chance to perform with, record, and learn from over the past few years.
